Test Sessions

The Skating Club of CNY offers multiple virtual test sessions each year.   We welcome both club members and non-club members to register.    Club member price: $30 per test.  Non-club member price: $40 per test.

Virtual Test Session Steps and Guidelines

 

STEPS TO REGISTER AND SUBMIT YOUR VIRTUAL TEST:

  1. Use the google form to register for your test.  Please submit a separate form for each test.  
  2. Print all forms listed above.  All forms will need to be filled out either prior to your test or at the time of filming.
  3. Record your virtual test within 14 days of the virtual test session date.  Please review guidelines below for filming. Per USFSA regulations - all tests must be filmed in landscape orientation and skater must show the Virtual Test Placard at the start of the video.
  4. Submit your video and forms electronically via Google drive or a dropbox folder.  Please send all submissions to: sccnytest@gmail.com
  5. You will receive a payment link to pay for the test session.  Please pay promptly, results will not be sent until payment is received.

 

HELPFUL TIPS AND GUIDELINES:

  • Recording tips:
    • All videos need to be recorded in landscape orientation.  
    • Please make sure all videos are clear - test chair/judges will reject any video that is not high quality.  
    • Skater must show the virtual test placard at the start of the recording.  
    • The videographer must show the date and time at the start of the recording.  
  • All tests must be submitted by 12:00 noon on the test session date.
