LEARN TO SKATE
General Information
The Skating Club of CNY participates in the official LTSUSA learn to skate program. Skaters will grow as skaters by successfully completing each element in a given level. The last class in each semester is dedicated to testing a skater’s development and will determine if they have achieved the necessary skills to move to the next level. It is natural for a skater to have to repeat levels more than one time in order to successfully complete each required skill in a level. We provide lessons year round and offer six semesters throughout the year. Depending on your skater’s goals, you may choose to register for just a few semesters or all six. All classes are one hour long and include a 30 minute group lesson and 30 minutes of practice time on their own. Private lessons will be available during the practice time for our Snowplow Sam through Pre free skate students for an additional fee. Rental skates are included.
REMINDERS
